What you need: Torque wrench, 4mm hex wrench, <strong>water resistant grease</strong> .
Important: Follow the step-by-step procedure<div class="grid_9"><h3>Prepare the fork steerer</h3>
- Make sure the steerer has a diameter of 28.6mm (1 1/8 ");
- Cut the steerer following the fork manufacturer's instructions so that there are 3mm between the end of the steerer itself and the top of the stem (Fig. 1);
- Make sure that the outer surface of the steerer and the inner surface of the stem are clean and dry.

- Remove all screws, grease the threads and <strong>under the head</strong> (not under the washers). <em>If the screws are not greased correctly, the tightening of the attachment on the tube, by tightening the screws according to the prescribed torque of 5Nm, drastically decreases.</em>
- Insert the steerer in the connection and place any shims. Fit the top cap and tighten the top cap screw as directed by the manufacturer.
- Install the fontalini as shown in the video above, sliding them from the outside towards the center of the handlebar (Fig. 2). The word "zero Gap" must be at the bottom, on the outside (Fig. 3).

- While pulling the handlebar towards the stem body, insert the screws and tighten the lower part of the faceplate until it touches the <strong>stem</strong> . (Fig. 4).

- Insert the two upper screws and tighten them slightly (three / four turns)
- Tighten the screws at the bottom with the 5Nm torque wrench (Fig. 5).

- Center the handlebar and position it according to your preferences, then tighten the two screws at the top to 5Nm (Fig. 6).

- Insert the two remaining screws, align the coupling correctly and tighten to 5Nm (Fig. 7).
